San Salvador’s Historic Center advances as a national benchmark in simplifying procedures

The Authority of the Historic Center of San Salvador (APLAN) has achieved the official registration of 45 procedures in the National Registry of the Regulatory Improvement Agency (OMR), consolidating itself as one of the leading institutions in the country in administrative simplification, digital transformation and regulatory improvement. This milestone is the result of a technical process that has eliminated unnecessary steps, reduced costs and guaranteed resolutions in a maximum of 90 days.

Thanks to the implementation of the One-Stop Shop, key procedures for operating legally in the Historic Center -such as licenses, permits, certifications and special authorizations- are handled through a single, reliable and efficient channel. This model has improved the investment climate, strengthened legal security and energized strategic sectors such as commerce, tourism and construction, positioning the Historic Center as an active, competitive and revitalized urban environment.
