Launch of the PlanES Project: A Key Step for the Revitalization of the Historic Centers of San Salvador and San Miguel

The Authority of the Historic Center of San Salvador, together with the Embassy of Italy in El Salvador, held the launching event of the project PlanES – Strategic Plan for the Recovery and Revitalization of the Historic Centers of San Salvador and San Miguel (AID012922/01/0).

This project is financed by the Government of the Republic of Italy, through the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), and represents an important joint effort to promote the integral transformation of historic centers through international collaboration.

PlanES seeks to strengthen urban revitalization processes through academic, technical and cultural exchange, promoting initiatives that integrate heritage, innovation and sustainable development.

This milestone marks a new stage of cooperation between El Salvador and Italy, aimed at recovering the historical, social and economic value of the country’s historic centers.
