Before registering your business and applying for your business license, you must first have Trámites Previos. This is the first step for your project or business to be part of the Historic Center of San Salvador.
You can apply for the following types of Preliminary procedures:
1- Site Qualification: this procedure allows you to qualify the permitted land use for your project or business.
2- Construction Line: this procedure allows you to review and certify the property boundaries of your project or business.
3- Rainwater Feasibility: this procedure allows you to validate the rainwater feasibility and is a requirement to obtain a construction permit.
4- Road Review and Zoning: this procedure allows you to review the internal road circulation system of your project or business and is a requirement to obtain a construction permit.

If you wish to use the public space of the Historic Center of San Salvador, you must fill out the authorization form for the use of public space with all the details about your event or activity, and send it by e-mail to [email protected]Make sure to complete this procedure at least 15 days in advance.
